Creek Week Cleanup, Sept. 25 – Oct. 3rd, 2021

September 25 @ 8:00 am - October 3 @ 5:00 pm

The 8th annual, 2021 Creek Week Cleanup from Sept 25 – Oct 3rd

We will be participating with local business and community conservation groups to volunteer shoulder to shoulder in cleaning up our urban fishery!! Every Year a key word out or HUGE chicken wire letters is built that spell an important idea about conservation. Our job as PPCTU participants is to adopt and fill one of these letter with trash collected from Fountain Creek watershed.

This year PPCTU’s Team will be cleaning up a section of BEAR CREEK that flows into Fountain Creek.

The Fountain Creek Watershed needs helping hands! It’s common for trash and debris to end up in waterways – clogging drainage systems, impacting wildlife, affecting water quality and ruining the view of our natural landscapes.

Be part of the largest watershed-wide clean-up in the state of Colorado! Creek Week volunteers clean up litter along a creek, trail, park or open space throughout the watershed. We’re inviting individuals and groups (families, clubs, schools, neighborhoods, etc.) to form a Creek Crew for the 8th Annual Creek Week Clean-Up. Get outdoors, get active, and create some good for your community and those living downstream.

This is an excellent event to bring your Kids!!!
