Vote for Board of Directors in March!

We hold our annual Business Meeting in March this year. We have a number of open board positions and ALL the other positions are up for re-election. Check this out:

POSITION NAME DUTIES
President Allyn Kratz

UP FOR RE-ELECTION

The President shall serve as general executive officer and shall appoint the chairs of all Chapter committees. The president shall oversee all activities of the Chapter and preside at all membership and board meetings.
Vice President OPEN The Vice President shall assume the duties of the President if the President is absent or unable to perform the President’s duties. The Vice President shall perform the duties assigned by the Board of Directors and the President.
Treasurer Terry Deaton

UP FOR RE-ELECTION

Shall have custody of all funds / property of the Chapter, keep full accurate accounts of monies received and paid on accounts of the chapter and give a financial report at each meeting of the board.
Secretary Shawn Reagan

UP FOR RE-ELECTION

The Secretary: shall keep the minutes of all meetings of the Board of Directors and the general membership and keep an accurate and current record of all Chapter documents on. The secretary shall also maintain the official correspondence of the Chapter. Put stuff up into the shared drive on Google.
VP, Conservation Don Logelin

UP FOR RE-ELECTION

shall be responsible for initiating and planning habitat improvement projects, liaison and coordination with governmental authorities and reporting on said projects and activities.
VP, Membership OPEN Coming up w ideas to boost members and keep track of contact info. PPCTU has the tools to do this, just don’t have a person. Shall recruit and maintain membership and the programs that are implemented for this purpose and maintain the membership roster.
VP, Communications OPEN Mainly the newsletter. Pushes out information about events out to the public. Makes flyers. Keeps events up to date. We have people who add to and edit the webpage and social media – a lot of people help. We need someone as a main point person to keep track of events coming up. Shall publish and deliver to the membership of the chapter a newsletter at a frequency determined by the Board of Directors and shall oversee the development and maintenance of the Chapter web site.
VP, Education Michele White

UP FOR RE-ELECTION

shall organize, develop the Chapter’s educational programs and events
VP, Programs Colin Dunn

UP FOR RE-ELECTION

Shall serve in the specific capacity of coordinating the Chapters membership meeting programs.
VP, Government Affairs Chris Benson

UP FOR RE-ELECTION

shall coordinate all communications with political leaders, governmental agencies and private groups, as well as provide timely updates on relevant legislation and other issues affecting the cold water resource.
VP, Financial Development OPEN Think fund raising. We need someone to come up with funding ideas. PPCTU has lists of ideas, just not anyone to augment the ideas. This person would also organize events like auctions, OR delegate and supervise the designated leader who takes on the auction. You don’t have to do any bookkeeping. We have Treasurer for that. Shall be responsible for the development and coordination of fund raising activities and events
VP, Publicity OPEN shall be responsible for external public relations, press releases with local, regional and national media outlets and shall coordinate this message with the Board of Directors.
Director at Large Mike Amacher shall be voting members of the Board of Directors and shall serve on committees and perform tasks at the direction of the Board. (Four Positions) This position allows a person to use our name and clout to follow up on some topic or action that is their personal passion. These people make their own projects up.
Director at Large David Leinweber shall be voting members of the Board of Directors and shall serve on committees and perform tasks at the direction of the Board. (Four Positions) This position allows a person to use our name and clout to follow up on some topic or action that is their personal passion. These people make their own projects up.
Director at Large Alan Peak shall be voting members of the Board of Directors and shall serve on committees and perform tasks at the direction of the Board. (Four Positions) This position allows a person to use our name and clout to follow up on some topic or action that is their personal passion. These people make their own projects up.
Director at Large PJ Klaven shall be voting members of the Board of Directors and shall serve on committees and perform tasks at the direction of the Board. (Four Positions) This position allows a person to use our name and clout to follow up on some topic or action that is their personal passion. These people make their own projects up.
