Visiting the Greenbacks in Bear Creek

On Friday October 2nd Allyn Kratz, Rick Luce and Bob Garrett visited Bear Creek to take photographs and video for our Trout in the Community display in the lobby of Anglers Covey. It was a cool, drizzly and foggy day… It turns out the light was perfect for taking underwater video of the Greenbacks as they were searching for lunch. We have created a video of the greenbacks:

 

And below are some still images pulled from the video providing some context and highlighting the local ecosystem where the video was taken. This section of Bear Creek was in very good condition after being scoured by the heavy 2015 spring/summer run-off…
