SEVERY CREEK WILLOW HIKE-IN
Wednesday, August 1, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Take a hike into Pikes Peak’s Severy Creek Basin! RMFI is working on the continued restoration of this delicate riparian habitat and are seeking volunteers to help hike young willow plants from Elk Park Knoll down into the basin where they will be set for transplanting. The willows will help with the ongoing revegetation and restoration initiatives in this critical riparian habitat.
Volunteers get complimentary access up the Pikes Peak Highway to Elk Park.
