Young Environmental Stewards Program October 6th and 13th Copy

October 6 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

PPCTU will again this year assist the Catamount Institute with the fishing day as part of the Young Environmental Stewards program. The is an after school program for 4th and 5th grade students. Every other year the program is about water and involves learning of the need to protect this natural resource.

This year the two outing days will be October 6th and 13th, both Saturdays. These students come to this program from Elementary Schools through out the Colorado Springs area. There will be 75-100, 8-10 year olds each of these days learning about how to enjoy this very valuable resource and learn first hand, Why!!

Volunteers are needed for fly tying and fly fishing.

This event will take place at the Catamount Institute facility just outside Woodland Park. This facility contains a pond with trout, stocked a number of years ago by PPCTU. The trout should be very large at this point.

Join us for the fun!!!!!!!!!!
