Creek Week in Colorado Springs (Sept 28 – Oct 6)

September 28 - October 6

WHAT IS CREEK WEEK?

Creek Week is a 9-day, watershed-wide litter and debris collection event that takes place at the end of September and beginning of October in Colorado Springs. PPCTU is going to fill up a giant letter “P” in the word “INSPIRE” with trash that our volunteers collect along the banks of Fountain Creek. This event seeks to raise awareness about the Fountain Creek watershed, our water supply, our district and how our littering issues can be mitigated to make our communities cleaner, safer and more beautiful.

This would be a lovely family event or conservation task for youth. Bring your dog. Have an afternoon contributing to your own human habitat.

You can volunteer for this event (or other events) using our form here:

Volunteer in Principal

Be part of the largest watershed-wide clean-up in the state of Colorado! Creek Week volunteers clean up litter along a creek, trail, park or open space throughout the watershed. We’re inviting individuals and groups (families, clubs, schools, neighborhoods, etc.) to form a Creek Crew for the 6th Annual Creek Week Clean-Up. Get outdoors, get active, and create some good for your community and those living downstream.
