CLEAN THE DREAM! 6TH ANNUAL RIVER CLEAN UP!
August 21 @ 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
Time: Saturday, August 21st 2021 from 8 AM to about 2 PM
Location: “The Dream Stream” is the three-mile long Colorado tailwater section of the South Platte River, which is close to the Charlie Meyers State Wildlife Area, about 2 hours 20 minutes from Denver. We’ll start at the Bridge Parking Lot next to County Rd 59, with access to the Charlie Meyers State Wildlife Area.
What’s going to happen:
We’ll start with an 8am breakfast (donuts!). Everybody needs to fill out a waiver and then gets a map. Trash bags & tools will be provided. Volunteers will be split up and directed to different areas. After spending a few hours collecting trash, we’ll meet back at the parking lot. Every person who comes back with a full trash bag will get a raffle ticket. Top notch fishing outdoor companies have donated goodies to support this event and you can get awarded for your volunteer time! This is a perfect family-friendly and COVID-friendly volunteer event!
