Catching the Next Generation: Youth Education

Posted by Michele White on November 10, 2021 in Action Center, Education, Layout Items, Projects, Uncategorized, Youth

Our efforts to conserve, protect and restore cold water fisheries and their watersheds are only as sustainable as our ability to encourage the generations coming behind us to support our mission. Every year PPCTU volunteers take students from the Village School, an online alternative high school, fishing at the Arkansas River Tailwaters in Pueblo. We provide the gear, the guides and talk to them about conservation and the state of the Greenback Cutthroat in Colorado.
